Life at Rehoboth

Teaching students

Learning

From elementary school to the local high school and then college or university. Rehoboth supports children through all stages of their education as well as having resources for study in the Home.

Church life for the Rehoboth children

Spiritual

Having a faith in God underpins all that we do and the Rehoboth children are encouraged to get involved in the church life and learn what it is to live as a Christian. Music and dance in worship is greatly encouraged and something that the children enjoy.

Weeding the garden

Activities

Rehoboth has a garden where the children are encouraged to grow vegetables and fruit. The two residents are weeding the ground. In addition we also keep chickens which helps the children to learn skills such as animal husbandry.

We would love to help more children

Whether providing accommodation at the Rehoboth Home, or living out in the community, we would love to do more and recognise that we can only do this your help.

How it all began

Connie and Vernon
Connie & Vernon when the home started in 1981

Connie & Vernon Andrews together with Pastor Luzano, and his wife, established the home in the  small village of Santa Maria, a few kilometres from the town of Camiling, in the province of Tarlac, on the northern island of Luzon.

Since then children and young people who have been orphaned, abandoned, neglected or are at risk, have been loved and cared for in a Christian atmosphere at Rehoboth Children’s Home.
