Rehoboth Children’s Home is in the small village of Santa Maria, a few kilometres from the town of Camiling, in the province of Tarlac, on the northern island of Luzon.  In 1981 Connie & Vernon Andrews together with Pastor Luzano, a local pastor, along with his wife, established the home and since then children and young people who have been orphaned, abandoned or neglected have been loved and cared for in a Christian atmosphere at Rehoboth Children’s Home. Our partner, Rehoboth Children’s Home, Inc, have launched their own website in the Philippines which is designed to be more appropriate for Filipino visitors. The home is run by Amelia Tuquero and overseen by a board of directors.

Connie’s passing

We are sorry to let you know that Connie Andrews, joint founder in 1981 of Rehoboth with her husband Vernon and Pastor and Mrs Luzano, went to be with the Lord early on Sunday 10th November after a brief illness following a successful operation to replace a heart valve.  We thank God for her faithful service to her Lord and Saviour.
A Service of Thanksgiving for Connie, was on Monday 9th December at Godmanchester Baptist Church, East Chadley Lane, Godmanchester PE29 2BJ.

This was preceded by a cremation service at Cambridge Crematorium, West Chapel earlier the same day.

We give thanks to God for Connie’s life and her immense commitment to Rehoboth since its founding in 1981 by herself with Vernon and Pastor and Mrs Luzano.
