Children begin formal schooling at a local Elementary School, a few minutes down the road. Upon successfully graduating, the children then enrol to a local high school. After finishing high school a number of options are open to the young people. Should they choose to continue with higher education, they are able to do so at college or university taking degree courses in a variety of subjects from nursing to teaching and agriculture to social work.
Educating the children and young people is a high priority to the staff at Rehoboth, therefore additional support, tutorial programmes and one to one lessons are made available for children who need assistance in their learning. One such example is a partnership with Tarlac Agriculture University (TAU) Education Department. The teacher training students at the college have the opportunity to be part of a project to provide tutorials to our residents in Filipino, English, Maths and Science.
