At the end of last year when a group of us visited Rehoboth, we were able to join in with the 35th Anniversary Celebrations of the founding of the Home in the Philippines in 1981.  We will be continuing with our celebrations here in the UK at our annual Rehoboth Rendezvous between 4.00 and 7.00pm on Saturday 22nd April at Godmanchester Baptist Church, East Chadley Lane, Godmanchester PE29 2BJ. The programme will include activities for all ages (adults and children), up-to-date information about Rehoboth, a time of thanksgiving for the past 35 years, an opportunity to ask questions and pray together and a chance to sample some Filipino food.

As well as having with us our co-founder and UK representative, Connie Andrews, and our overseas volunteer, Kathryn Thompson, we are delighted that Rehoboth’s Executive Director in the Philippines, Amy Tuquero, is also expecting to join us.  We have invited Amy to visit the UK in April to meet us all and to speak at our Rendezvous. Do come and join us if you can, to share in thanking God for his faithfulness over the last 35 years, to see what is happening now at the Home and to hear of plans for the future.

If you would like to contribute towards the cost of Amy’s visit, donations can be paid into the following designated account at Nationwide BS: sort code 07-02-46, account number 05599604, name Miss Kathryn J Thompson. If you would like an acknowledgement of your gift, please let us know.  If more is given than is required to cover the cost of the visit, the balance will be paid into Rehoboth’s general fund.
