KATHRYN THOMPSON
Kathryn Thompson is a trustee of Rehoboth Children’s Homes Trust and a resident volunteer. She spends on average ten months of the year out in the Philippines, living at the Home, and the rest of the time back in the U.K.

As a qualified teacher she is involved in the educational development of the children at the Home. She helps them with their school projects, assignments and homework, and supplements their studies with extra classes after school and at weekends.
She has also been teaching all of the elementary and high school students ‘English as a Second Language’ classes over the years.
Alongside this she assists the Executive Director at the Home with administrative tasks, liaises between the Board of Directors and staff in the Philippines and the trustees in the U.K. and is involved in creating new publicity material.
She works with the children to write letters and cards to their sponsors and teaches Sunday School to the younger children, takes them twice a week for a devotion and leads a Bible Study with the younger teenagers. She provides regular updates for prayer, puts the bi-annual newsletter together and provides information for the website.
When she is back in the U.K. she visits various churches, Sunday Schools, home groups and schools speaking about Rehoboth Children’s Home.
