Rehoboth Childrens Home - in the PhilippinesRehoboth Childrens Homes

Rehoboth Children’s Home Inc is a Christian charity that works to house disadvantaged children who for whatever reason are no longer able to live with their own families. Rehoboth has a large Residential centre which at present is home to approximately 50 children. The home itself is located in the village of Santa Maria on the northern island of Luzon in the Philippines. The home is managed by a board of Directors in the Phillipines and the charity called Rehoboth Childrens Homes Incorporated (RCHI).

The UK charity Rehoboth Childrens Homes Trust (RCHT) has its own Board of Trustees, and their main function is publicity and financial support of  (RCHI). Although Kathryn Thompson is permanently based in the Philippines she is in fact a trustee of the UK charity and she supports the Home’s Executive Director and ensuring the smooth running of the Home. God has been faithful in consistently providing both the funds and spiritual support to maintain the continual growth and success of this project from the outset.

In addition to the residential home we also run the Rehoboth Educational Assistance Programme (REAP) which works to financially and spiritually support students in the community to get an education. On this programme the student’s tuition fees and uniform are provided along with other assistance such as books and transportation where required.

Our vision at Rehoboth is to provide a God-loving home where children and youth are enabled to reach their full educational potential and are encouraged to develop morally, emotionally, physically and spiritually to become responsible and productive members of their family and society.
